About Me
What makes me a valuable asset and the perfect candidate to join your company? First and foremost I always try to make myself as benficial as possible to my employer. I'm an excellent team player and make a great addition to any team. I've held many different job titles in my past and with that comes experience. My career path naturally led me into focusing all my time and effort into becoming an IT professional. I chose this career because I enjoy helping people, and I'm great with computers. People tend to rely on me for help and I'm always there to give them a helping hand. I'm a quick thinker, hardworker, and great problem solver so I usually find the solutions fairly quickly. If a problem is really difficult I'm always willing to go above and beyond to find the proper solution. I'm constantly challenging myself to push my limitations which gets me in way over my head sometimes. I enjoy being in complex situations though, because it presents me with a huge opportunity to learn. I'm constantly trying to find my limits, and expand passed them, but I also recognize when it's time to reach out for help. Tough predicaments are humbling and shine lights on the areas where I can improve. Whenever there's an issue I get to the bottom of it and work with the team to help me understand it. With the help of my colleagues I feel like I've been able to accomplish so much, gain a wide set of skills, and obtain a vast amount of knowledge about the IT field. The most important thing I've learned is there's always room to learn from others. The main reason I love the IT field is because it's a never ending process of learning. My mind is stimulated by challenges because they are fun, and I'm always ready to tackle the next task waiting for me around the corner.

Work History
If you look at my job history you can see I'm a very creative person and on top of that I'm a super motivated individual. My skillset is not limited to computers I also have a plethora of creative skills which include things like Photography, Filming, Video Editing, 3D Animation, Visual Effects, Drawing and the list goes on. I feel like my creative side plays a big hand towards my problem solving skills when it comes to IT. Thinking outside of the box is a really good thing when it comes to solving the really difficult problems. My creative journey also shows that when I have my mindset on doing something I get really good at it. I was so motivated on becoming a professional artist I got to the point where I worked on big budget Hollywood movies which was my childhood dream (Click on "My IMDB button below to view my credits). People always ask me why I would leave the Animation field and the truth is because the jobs weren't solid enough it was all contract based and it was stressful being out of work every 3 months to find a new project. I still love doing it and will never stop enjoying it as a hobby but, as a career I wanted something I loved just as much but would be more stable and less stressful. I eventually decided to move back to my parents house in Massachusetts while I figure out my next step.
While I was back home I was looking for work with my 3D Animation Degree under my belt and jobs are slim in that field. Luckily I found a job creating 3D models of teeth for a dental company. It helped get my bills paid while I figured out what my next move should be. I'm highly driven person but I knew I wanted to pursue something I was really passionate about. I ended up after a year or so figuring out that all my jobs involved the use of computers. I realized that I've always had a thing for computers so I ended up going back to college for Computer Science. I started going to school part time in hopes of getting my Computer Science Degree. Meanwhile in my job I kept getting raises and bumped up to newer better positions until I landed a Lead Design role in the company. Took me four years to finish my Associates but as I was getting close to my last semester the company I was at got rid of their IT department by outsourcing it. I had no room for growth within the company so I had to move on after 7 years to somewhere that I could build myself up again.
I'm currently holding a Help Desk Support Tech job now and I'm loving every minute of it. My current job has all my gratitude because I've learned so much about computers from them. It's been a great experience and my co-workers are very nice and helpful people. Combining hands on experience with my schooling, and studying for my Network + and other aspects on my own has made my skills grow exponentially larger than if I would've stayed at my last job. I appreciate all my previous employers and what they have been able to provide for me. I've always left in great terms and have always been close with them like if they were my own family. It's been a hard road but I'm finally getting my feet wet in the Computer Science field and I am running full sprint learning and absorbing as much knowledge as I can. I have big asperations and am working hard every single day to keep growing my talents. My goal is to dedicate all my hardwork and skills into having a long and successful career with one company . That is the whole purpose of this portfolio it's to show my growth and how hard I'm willing to work to acheive my goals!
